R.D.B & two mega new shows in Sept on STAR

STAR Plus is going all out in September with the introduction of two mega shows and the UK TV premiere of blockbuster movie ‘Rang De Basanti’ (RDB).

As confirmed yesterday, hit drama ‘Kkavyanjali’ will be exiting the channel and will be replaced with new Balaji soap ‘Karam Apna Apna’. ‘Kkavyanjali’ comes to an end on Monday 18th September. ‘Karam Apna Apna’ will be commencing on Tuesday 26th September airing Monday through to Thursday at 21:30.

Another new show starring popular actress Smriti Irani (Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi fame) called ‘Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Sa Aasman’ will strengthen the channel’s weekend programming. It launches Saturday 23rd September and will be shown weekends at 19:30.

Aamir Khan’s patriotic box office spectacular ‘Rang De Basanti’ will be shown on STAR Plus UK on Saturday 23rd September at 21:00. ‘Rang De Basanti’ received acclaim from the media worldwide. Recently the UTV produced movie won praise in London by BAFTA.

STAR Plus will also be screening UTV’s other hit movie ‘Bluffmaster’ this month.
