Punjabi singer Nachattar Gill accused of rape

Punjabi singer Nachattar Gill was arrested last night and presented to a court after being accused of rape.

The folk singer was sent to two-day police remand, along with three others in a case of rape, according to Business Standard.

The victim, described as a local model, accused Gill of raping her on the pretext of giving her a break in modeling and music video albums.

The case was registered against him in June last in Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) police station.
