Punjabi Radio goes off on Sky Digital

Punjabi Radio
Punjabi Radio is owned by the Sunrise Radio Group

Punjabi Radio has abruptlty discontinued broadcasting on Sky Digital today.

The channel owned by Sunrise Radio Group is the latest service from the organisation to be removed from the Sky Digital EPG. Incidently, Punjabi Radio recently left Coventry and Wolverhampton areas on digital radio.

Only a few days ago, Sunrise Radio and Sunrise TV ceased broadcasting on the satellite platform without any notice. The only channel from the group remaining on Sky is Kismat Radio.

It is not known why these channels have suddenly departed from the platform. But usually in these cirumstances, it is blamed on either a technical error or a financial issue.

BizAsia was awaiting a response from Sunrise Radio Group at the time of filing this article.
