As revealed previously on BizAsiaLive.com, the world’s first Punjabi film channel, Pitaara is set for its UK launch on the Sky platform.
BizAsiaLive.com can now exclusively reveal that Pitaara will launch on Monday 22nd March on Sky channel 773 free-to-air.
Pitaara’s programming will consist of four movies per day, along with other Punjabi entertainment content.
Pitaara’s movie line-up includes blockbuster titles such as ‘Qismat’, ‘Afsar’, ‘Sufna’, ‘Chal Mera Putt’, ‘Mr & Mrs 420 Returns’, ‘Ranjha Refugee’, ‘Gudiyan Patole’, ‘Saagi Phull’, ‘Laavan Phere’, ‘Muklawa’, ‘Chana Mereya’, among many others.
Pitaara will be launched in the UK by World Media Connect, the same company behind successful channels PTC Punjabi, Foodxp and Republic Bharat.
