Punit Goenka resigns from ZEE Media

Punit Goenka, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ZEE Entertainment Enterprises, has resigned from his position at ZEE Media.

Goenka, who was serving as Non-Executive-Non-Independent Director, will end his duties today, 22nd July – close of business. He was cited giving ‘preoccupation’ as reason for his exit.

The company said in a filing to the National Stock Exchange said, “This is to inform that Mr. Punit Goenka, non-executive, non-independent director has tendered his resignation from the directorship of the company with effect from the close of business hours on July 22, 2020.”

Goenka continues with his work at ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Ltd.
