PTC Punjabi Film Awards hailed a huge success

This year’s PTC Punjabi Film Awards proved a huge hit amongst the star studded attendees at the event last night.

Ms. Rajiee M Shinde, CEO & Director ��� PTC Network and Mr. Rabindra Narayan, President & Director ��� PTC Network, greeted the biggest Bollywood and Pollywood stars in the Industry, including Bobby Deol, Sonu Sood, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Huma Qureshi, Poonam Dhillon, Gauhar Khan, Zarine Khan, , Rahul Dev, Mukesh Rishi, Pawan Malhotra , Rashmi and the entire Punjabi Stars , as they walked the Red Carpet. The trio anchors Sonu Sood, Diljit Dosanjh and Binnu Dhillon took light hearted gestures and made sure that a packed audience of over 10,000 stayed put right till the end.

PTC Punjabi Film Awards are truly leading the Punjabi Film Industry from the front. As part of the event proceedings, energetic dancers opened the show, followed by performance by Nav Bajwa and Apoorva Arora on Bollywood Punjabi Numbers. Bobby Deol said he was happy to be in Punjab, and also announced production of a Punjabi Film under Vijeta Productions. The crowds swooned and cheered to scintillating moves and gyrations of the vivacious Surveen Chawla as she danced to Aaaj Phir Tumpe and Disco Singh Title Track. The ceremonial lamp was lit by none other than Bobby Deol, Ms. Shinde and Mr. Narayan. Gauhar Khan, all set to make her debut in Punjabi Industry, showcased a scintillating performance on a medley of Bollywood numbers.

Rabindra Narayan, President PTC Network stated that as a first, these awards are being recorded in High Definition and the viewers will themselves notice the immense and welcome difference in the quality of telecast.

Rajiee M Shinde, CEO PTC Network confirmed that the Red Carpet would be telecast on 27th March and the Main Event on Saturday 28th March in India, USA, Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
