Properties under Rhea Chakraborty’s name under investigation

Three properties of Rhea Chakraborty’s are being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), including one property in the Khar area of Mumbai. The actress was interrogated for eight hours, reportedly, BizAsiaLive.com has come to know.

The flat is worth Rs 84 lakhs for Chakraborty, including GST, stamp duty, and other charges. It was booked by Chakraborty in early 2018 and was registered in the same year as well, reports DNA India. The star initially paid 10% from her account and a further payment was made by Chakraborty after she took a home loan from the bank.

The property registration documents also include her mother as a joint nominee. This project was supposed to be ready by August 2022. However, Chakraborty will get the possession of the flat in February 2023.

Earlier on Friday, Chakraborty appeared before the Enforcement Directorate for questioning in the ongoing Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. The Directorate had reportedly also warned they would register any absence as a non-compliance of summons. She appeared before them with her brother, Showik Chakraborty – both of whom were reportedly business partners with Singh Rajput.
