Programme head Pranab Kapadia leaves ZEE TV

ZEE TV and ZEE Cinema’s UK Programme Controller Pranab Kapadia is leaving the network later this month.

He is currently working his notice period and leaves mid-May. The departure brings an end to his seven-year stint with ZEE Network UK (Pranab also spent three years with ZEE Network India before joining UK operations).

Kapadia is said to have begun working on his next venture – setting up UK offices for Indian film processing company Adlabs. His position will be of Business Head UK. The UK company is also said to be in talks about distributing some mega movie titles beginning with Krrish in June and Jaaneman later in the year.

During his time at ZEE Network, Kapadia headed film distribution for hit films Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and One Dollar Curry.
