Vicky Kaushal starrer ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ (2019) is still receiving accolades for its patriotism. With the recent Pulwama attack, producers are keen on making films based on the attack and events thereafter, including the surgical strike against Balakot the largest terror camp, and capture of Indian Air Force Pilot Abhinandan Varthaman.
Huffington Post reports that representatives from different production companies were present at the Indian Motion Pictures’ Producers’ Association (IMMPA) office on 26th February to register titles for these future projects they are interested in making. On the case of anonymity, someone present revealed, “After a point, they started discussing amongst themselves, suggesting variations of the same title. It was quite a sight.”
An IMMPA representative confirmed that there was an “overwhelming” amount of applications for titles related to the aforementioned events.
