Producer confident about ‘Mere Angne Mein’ future

Star Plus’ hugely popular show ‘Mere Angne Mein’, which was launched with much pomp and drama has experienced a lot of twists and turns with the characters in the show.

The new plot with new characters looks promising and has also helped the show to gain points to top its TRP chart. With the character Aarti entering Amma’s ‘Shanti Sadan’, to take care of Shivam and Riya’s child, the audience would be keen to see how the story unfolds henceforth.

Despite rumours of the show going off-air, producer Sunjoy Waddhwa, CMD, Sphereorigins was confident about its future. He told BizAsiaLive.com exclusively, “Mere Angne Mein is a show that has always won the interest of the audience. The new plot demanded a change in the protagonist of the show, hence the entry of Richa Mukherjee as Aarti. She enters the family as a blessing to Shivam and Riya’s new born child. We are confident that the audience will enjoy the freshness in the show and shower the same love and support to the new characters.”

‘Mere Angne Mein’ constantly leads the 18:00 slot in the UK, redefining Star Plus UK’s early evening primetime schedule.
