Producer clarifies details on Meena Kumari biopic

As reported by BizAsia��previously, there were reported of Kangna Ranaut and Tigmanshu Dhulia teaming up for a��biopic on Meena Kumari’s life. Producer Vikram Malhotra, who has the rights for the biopic, has clarified the situation.

Malhotra told Mumbai Mirror, “No director has been finalised yet…��A decision on the actress will be taken after the script is in place and the director on board. It’s the prerogative of the director. But given that this is the greatest tragedienne we are talking about, it will be a serious A-lister.”

The film will be based on Vinod Mehta’s biography on the iconic actress.
