Producer Asit Kumar Modi wants Disha Vakani to return in ‘TMKOC’

Disha Vakani became popular as Dayaben because of the show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’. In 2017, she took maternity leave and she recently confirmed that she has quit the show. Since then, there are reports that makers are looking out for a replacement of Vakani to play her character on the show.

However, while talking to the media, the producer of the show, Asit Kumar Modi hinted at the possibility that he would like Vakani to return to the show, reports Pinkvilla. Modi told the channel that the show is not theirs, it belongs to the viewers now and they love her. He wants the star to return to the show as viewers love her a lot.

Modi added that he will not disappoint the fans of the show. He added, “Show kisike liye ruka nahi hai. Show sabse upar hai. Aati hai toh bohot acchi hai, yeh toh sone pe suhaaga hai. Agar koi bhi aayega, toh accha hi hone wala hai.”
