Priyanka’s Oscar 2016 outfit picked out by Google

Priyanka Chopra Oscars 2016 5 400x

With her hit US TV series ‘Quantico’ hitting its highest ratings where she also bagged this years ‘People’s Choice Award’ for ‘Favourite Actress In A New TV Series’, as well as being praised for her killer style in multiple award functions in the US, 2016 has turned out to be a great year for Priyanka Chopra. So much so, that Google has even looked back and selected the actress in her Zuhair Murad white Oscar gown, as a part of their recent hashtag trending ‘Year In Search’ tag.

Taking to social media, Chopra took to Instagram, and posted a picture of the page created by Google celebrating the actress’ gown being one of the top trending dresses of the event. She thanked the company with the caption, “So delighted that my Oscar outfit featured in @Google’s #YearInSearch! Thank you for the love! #ZuhairMurad Google.com/2016”

Every year Google select the most powerful events, people, subjects and ideas that have made the biggest impact around the world over the past year, and campaign it as a hashtag on social media as #YearInSearch. Here’s hoping Chopra has plenty more Google tags to come.

Chopra will next be seen in Seth Gordon’s ‘Baywatch’. Set to release in 2017, the film also stars Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbac and Jon Bass.
