Priyanka returns to Mumbai; to sign SLB’s ‘Gustakhiyaan’?

With Priyanka Chopra back in Mumbai, rumours are rife of the actress meeting up with Sanjay Leela Bhansali to sign her next Bollywood film.

Mid-Day reports that she could commit herself to ‘Gustakhiyaan’ – a biopic on Punjabi writer-poet, Amrita Pritam helmed by Bhansali.

A source told the publication, “In all likelihood, Priyanka’s trip will culminate in the project being locked. An official announcement, however, will be made only after the male lead (for the part of legendary poet Sahir Ludhianvi) is cast.”

The film is expected to follow the relationship of Sahir and Pritam before he went to begin dating singer-actress, Sudha Malhotra. Abhishek Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan could land the male part in the film.

Chopra is in Mumbai for four days so remains to be seen what other projects she will give her nod to.
