Priyanka-Kareena go head to head again
Barely has the dust over ��Ram-Leela�۪ settled, with rumours of Priyanka Chopra replacing Kareena Kapoor in Sanjay Leela Bhansali�۪s touted venture, there comes more news of them battling it out for yet another ambitious film that�۪s in the pipeline. This time, word is that it�۪s a toss up between the two feisty beauties for Karan Johar�۪s next ��� a period film based on Amish Tripathi�۪s bestselling novel ��The Immortals of Meluha’.
���The rumour mills have been suggesting names like Vidya Balan, PC and even Katrina to play Sati. Now, the battle is between Kareena and Priyanka,� said a source to the Hindustan Times.
Kapoor has always been a Johar favourite, but with news of her impending marriage, and Chopra�۪s reconciliation with the renown director after a very public fallout, it is unclear as to which of the two actresses will eventually bag the coveted role.
��The Immortals of Meluha’ is planned as a trilogy, and is a fictionalised biography of Lord Shiva, with Hrithik Roshan in the male lead.
