Priyanka Chopra’s single shortlisted for Hollywood film

Priyanka Chopra’s talents and reach seems to be going from strength to strength. Now, BizAsia has learnt that her single In My City has been shortlisted to be part of the soundtrack of a Hollywood comedy film.

The upcoming film is titled ‘Last Vegas’ and is a romantic comedy starring Robert De Niro, Michael Douglas and Morgan Freeman. Producers are keen to have Chopra’s song in the background as the film has a part in sin city at a bachelor’s party. A source told Hindustan Times, “Yes. Priyanka�۪s peppy song befitted the tone of the movie where four guys well into their 60s are just��trying to have fun and choose Vegas as their destination”.

Chopra’s voice seems to have been accepted in the western market and what with her being the new face of designer brand Guess amongst other things, 2013 has definitely been a progressive year for her.
