Priyanka Chopra’s Hindi singing debut in ‘Zanjeer’?

Ex Miss World Priyanka Chopra is not far from releasing her international album. Audiences may have been wondering when Bollywood would snap her up. Well, it seems Apoorva Lakhia has the right idea and wants the lady to make her Bollywood playback debut in ‘Zanjeer’ in which she is also the female lead.

In what will be a remake of 1973’s movie of the same name, Chopra will be starring opposite Ram Charan. As reported by Hindustan Times, it will provide a perfect opportunity for her to lend her vocals for the first time. A source stated, “She wants her first film song to be as special as her first international album. The song in the new Zanjeer will be something tailored specially for her voice”. It is thought Chopra’s portion of the movie will start filming in October and her album would have released by then. This means she will no longer be bound not to accept any further singing offers that come her way as she is currently.

‘Zanjeer’ will also star Arjun Rampal as antagonist and Amitabh Bachchan will also be making an appearance in the film.
