Priyanka Chopra’s fun stance on her MET Gala 2017 outfit

Priyanka Chopra’s recent look at the MET Gala 2017 drew a lot of support and flak but the actress has taken it in her stride.  Her daring choice which involved a long trench coat got the fashion circles buzzing as well as providing comic value for social media.

However Chopra has maintained a tongue in cheek stance as she went onto tweet “It’s good to see your dress serve more purpose than fashion” in response to the memes that have been circulating since she unveiled her look earlier in the week.

DNA India reported on her stylist Christina Ehrlich who also shared her thoughts on the outfit choice and is happy the look garnered so much attention.  “There is a lot of euphoria after a moment like this, particularly when you see the first image of her”, said Ehrlich.  She also went onto add that Chopra had tried the look ahead of the ball and it fitted with the actress’ attitude.  “With the drama of the train and knowing how Priyanka performs on the carpet, I knew there would be a lot of notice, but I was happy to see how well people received the overall look”, she finished.

Love it or hate it, Chopra’s look certainly got people talking!
