Priyanka Chopra’s debut Bhojpuri production set for release

Priyanka Chopra had returned to Mumbai with a packed diary of commitments. However, this all went to pot when she sadly lost her grandmother. Having completed the last rites in Cochin, Chopra is now getting set for the release of her first Bhojpuri production, ‘Bam Bam Bol Raha Hai Kashi’, which will mark her debut as a producer under her company Purple Pebble Pictures (PPP).

Mumbai Mirror reports Chopra’s spokesperson confirming the news, “The romance-drama is the first of a string of films PPP is producing this year in an effort to promote regional cinema”.

“Apart from the Bhojpuri production, PeeCee will also produce one Marathi and one Punjabi film under her home banner. The actress has always believed in the depth of stories and talent in regional cinema and wanted to bring them in the forefront,” continued the spokesperson.

The actress will be in Patna for the film’s premiere on 9th June.

‘Bam Bam Bol Raha Hai Kashi’ is slated for release on Friday 10th June and stars�� Amrapali Dubey and Dinesh Lal Yadav, popularly known as Nirahua. It’s set to release in ten cities across the sub-continent.
