Currently reigning in the US Entertainment world, Priyanka Chopra isn’t leaving the Indian Film Industry behind. News has it that the actress wants to produce a full-on Hindi film under her own production house, Purpler Pebble Pictures.
As Box Office Capsule reports, Chopra’s mum Madhu Chopra spoke to the media and explained, “Priyanka is currently looking at interesting collaborations on the Hindi film front. Moreover, she would like to make a full-fledged Hindi movie under her own banner. It will be a film close to her heart.”
It was also reported that the film ‘Madamji’ which Chopra was to co-produce with Madhur Bhandarkar is now back on, where it was earlier said to have been shelved.
“It was kept on hold earlier because a few other films with similar story lines appeared on screen, but ‘Madamji’ is not in cold storage. It has certainly not been abandoned unless Madhur changes his mind on that. On our part, we will be going ahead with the film,” Chopra’s mum revealed.
Chopra will next be seen on the big screen, in the major Hollywood film ‘Baywatch’ alongside the likes of Dwayne Jhonson and Zac Effron.
