Priyanka Chopra to sign SLB’s gangster drama?

Yesterday, BizAsiaLive.com reported that Sanjay Leela Bhansali could well be on the brink of signing none other than Shah Rukh Khan for ‘Gustaakhiyaan’. It was also being said that Priyanka Chopra was in talks to play Amrita Pritam in the same project. However, it seems Chopra has actually been meeting Bhansali about a different project altogether. If it all works out, Chopra could well star in a female gangster drama that Bhansali is apparently still scripting.

A source revealed to Pune Mirror, “Priyanka has met and discussed scripts with seven Bollywood directors over the last four months. She is being very selective as her calendar is choc-o-bloc till 2018 since the chance of Quantico getting a third season is high”.

It seems Chopra will be meeting Bhansali at a party she’s attending tonight. The source added, “Priyanka will meet Bhansali again at his office next week and is expected to sign on the dotted line in February. The duo has been discussing scripts for the last one year. They’re very fond of each other”.

Interestingly, the Bhansali gangster drama will reportedly have two male leads too.

Chopra is in Mumbai for a few weeks before promotions for ‘Baywatch’, which marks her Hollywood debut, commence.
