Priyanka Chopra to attend ‘Pahuna’ premiere after wedding

In the midst of planning her big wedding, one would think Priyanka Chopra would take a backseat with her work, however, it seems she has taken the definition of a workaholic to a whole new level. Along with shooting for Sidharth Roy Kapur’s ‘The Sky is Pink’, apparently the actress-turned-producer is planning to attend the screening of her next home production film ‘Pahuna: The Little Visitors’ straight after her big day.

Talking to the media was the film’s director Paakhi A Tyrewala, who was all in praise for Chopra with all her support and professionalism. “She is amazing. She is coming for the premiere. She is conducting a premiere in Sikkim on December 6 and that shows her professionalism. I am amazed to look at the way she works. If I had just got married, I would have disappeared for a month but she is back on track promoting her film,” Asian Age reports Tyrewala expressing.

By the sounds of things, it wasn’t just the bride-to-be who was involved with its production. As Tyrewala goes on, Chopra’s mother Dr Madhu Chopra was as much a part of the films making as her daughter. “She is extremely good as a producer and I think it comes from her mother Madhu Chopra. I have spent more time with Mrs Chopra. She is a mother, producer and we never felt left out when she was around. She is so involved with the project that you wouldn’t believe that she is also a mother planning her daughter’s wedding; she does both so well,” the director went on to add.

Chopra’s wedding celebrations will commence on 30th November and end on 2nd December, where five days later she will join the rest of her cast and crew to present the Nepali film to the industry.
