Priyanka Chopra to star in ‘Aitraaz’ sequel?

In 2004’s ‘Aitraaz’, Priyanka Chopra raised eyebrows when she played a negative character. As the sequel is set to get underway, it might see the actress reprise her role.

Producer Subhash Ghai has apparently already spoken to Chopra about the second instalment, according to Ahmedabad Mirror. A source stated, “It’s a new story with a new title. Subhash Ghai has already had a word with Priyanka Chopra and the two have discussed the film. She loves the idea of a sequel to a film which won her accolades for her performance in a negative role and is excited to feature in the second instalment of the franchise. She is keen to collaborate with Ghai again and has even told him that she will try working around her dates”.

The sequel is expected to roll this year and Chopra will apparently be meeting Ghai when she’s next in Mumbai to take the final call.
