Zoya Akhtar’s much talked about ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ is gaining momentum as each passing day with latest reports suggesting Priyanka Chopra has shed her muscles within 20 days to get into the skin of her character in the film.
Reports say that the actress was training with boxer Jharna Sanghvi over the last year to develop a muscular chiseled look, has lost 7 kilos for the role of of a businesswoman in Zoya’s film. Apparently, Chopra has undergone a strenuous regime combining weight training and cardio and a strict diet.
Sanghvi told Bollywood Hungama, “It is not advisable to cut 6-7 kilos in a mere 15-20 days. But it can be achieved for boxers with the right weight training and activities like skipping and running. This was coupled by a strict protein rich diet minus carbs. Regular exercises and running for at least 30 minutes helped in a huge way.”
Chorpa is currently in Barcelona with the rest of the team shooting the film.
