Priyanka Chopra plants kiss on SRK, Gauri Khan looks on

In the last year, things have been less than dandy between Gauri Khan and Priyanka Chopra what with rumours of an affair or inappropriate fondness between Shah Rukh Khan and Chopra. Just as one thought things had died down a little, the night of the 19th Annual Colors Screen Awards which took place on 12th January saw Chopra kiss King Khan on stage.

The two were seen on stage together for some time, despite the controversy surrounding them. They shared jokes and an obvious chemistry. They seemed comfortable in the limelight even with Gauri Khan looking on in the audience along with daughter Suhana.

Rumour mills suggest that Chopra has been doing her utmost to stay out of the family’s way, even resorting to making quick exits from events to avoid any chance meeting. This ‘stunt’ seems to be deliberate… maybe because the two have been paired together in Farah Khan’s forthcoming ‘Happy New Year’? Wait and watch…
