Priyanka Chopra: “My personal life is not for public consumption”

Speaking at the interactive session – ‘Challenging the Status Quo & Forging New Paths’, co-organised by FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) and Yes Bank, Priyanka Chopra made it quite clear that her personal life was her business and no-one else’s.

Reported on Hindustan Times, Chopra who is currently dating Nick Jonas has been making headlines ever since their relationship went public, and even more so with the current rumours of the couple possibly getting engaged. In response to a question, Chopra said her relationships are not for “Public consumption”. “My personal life is not for public consumption. 90% of my life is for public consumption but 10% is for me. I am a girl and I have the right to keep that to myself. My family, friendship, my relationships are things I don’t think I need to defend or explain it to anyone. I am not running for the Office, so I don’t think I need to give explanations.”

After quitting the Salman Khan starrer ‘Bharat’, questions were raised surrounding Chopra’s professionalism, despite Ali Abbas Zafar wishing the ‘Quantico’ star all the best in what seemed like a cryptic tweet, which happened to reference Jonas.

Last night, Chopra was in Singapore attending Jonas’ concert.
