Priyanka Chopra on ‘cat fight’ with Deepika Padukone

Following her portrayal of Alex Parrish, the protagonist in ABC’s TV series ‘Quantico’, Priyanka Chopra has taken Hollywood by storm and with co-star Deepika Padukone soon to make an entry into the West with ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’, news of an upset between the two has quickly started doing rounds.

When asked for her comments on these alleged rumours, according to the Hindustan Times, Chopra responded, “Why are women always reduced to cat fights? We all have so much more to do than to waste time on ‘cat fights’. We all have our own chosen paths. As far as I’m concerned, they are — as you put it — rumours.”

With growing international recognition, the former model and Miss World title holder recently joined professional networking site LinkedIn as a ‘global influencer’. Sharing her delight on the same, the ‘Bajirao Mastaani’ (2015) star shared, “I’m honoured to have been invited to be part of a distinguished group of global influencers. As a budding entrepreneur, I’m looking forward to connecting with the vibrant community of professionals on the network and exchanging thoughts and ideas…It gives me a sense of achievement to know that I am counted among the elite across the globe. I don’t feel any added pressure or responsibility because I’ve been added to these lists. For me it’s more of a sign that I am on the right path on my individual journey.”
