Priyanka Chopra named face of Dr Dre’s Beats Electronics

In a huge coup for the actress, Priyanka Chopra has been named the new face of Dr Dre’s Beat Electronics.

Chopra has been hired by the rapper’s business partner Jimmy Iovine to appear in a series of commercials and print ads for the headphone and digital streaming service.

The news comes just days after Apple confirmed to acquiring Beats Electronics for a whopping $3 billion.
