Priyanka Chopra is not desperate for Hollywood films

Priyanka Chopra has won positive reviews for her performance in the American television series, ‘Quantico’, in which she essays the lead protagonist. With recent news of Deepika Padukone having signed a Hollywood film, one wonders if Chopra too has her heart set on the same. However, Chopra claims she is not desperate for a Hollywood film and would only accept an offer if she felt it was exciting enough.

PTI quote Chopra as saying, “I have an agent in America since five years but I do work on my own terms. I am a star here in Hindi cinema so I don’t want to do anything for the heck of it. I have no desperation to prove a point to someone. I would do films there if it excites me.”

On the Bollywood front, the actress will soon be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’. ��Also starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, the historical romance releases on 18th December.
