Priyanka Chopra: ” I am an Indian star first…”

Priyanka Chopra has become an international star since featuring in American TV show ‘Quantico’. However, the actress is also committed to staying a part of Bollywood. She recently said that she puts Indian cinema first.

“Quantico is the biggest show in the US. I am an Indian star first then an international personality,” said Chopra to Hindustan Times.

When asked about juggling her commitments on different sides of the world, Chopra commented, “If I have to dominate globally then I have to pay the price for it… I have to manage things. It was my choice to do things that I am doing and be responsible towards it”.

“I did the film for Sanjay sir and I have just followed him. I was the first person to be cast in this film. I was shooting for Mary Kom and Sanjay sir told me about Bajirao Mastani and he was clear he wanted me in it,” continued Chopra.

Chopra is now not expected to be a part of ‘Bajirao Mastani’ promotions in India before it releases on 18th December.
