Priyanka Chopra to be guest of honour at TIFF 2017 event

The Toronto International Film Festival 2017 will be taking place in just a few months. Priyanka Chopra has been confirmed as a guest of honour at the Festival’s fundraiser, BizAsiaLive.com has learnt.

The fundraiser event will be kicking off the festival in September, as reported by The Star. “A longtime staple of international screens, Priyanka Chopra is not only celebrated for playing strong and nuanced female characters that have their own agency, she is also committed to creating equal opportunities for women so they can reach their full potential,” said Maxine Bailey, TIFF’s Vice President of Advancement.

Chopra will be taking part in an on-stage conversation and will talk about her career.
