Priyanka Chopra gives voice-over to Hollywood’s ‘Girl Rising’

After making a debut on the international stage, Priyanka Chopra will now be making a different kind of debut in Hollywood.

According to Times Of India, the actress has lent her voice as narrator in English and Hindi for the Hollywood movie, ‘Girl Rising’. The movie, which tells the stories of girls from around the world and how the power of education can change the world, has been directed by the Oscar nominated director, Richard E Robbins. The Indian story of the documentary has been written by Sooni Taraporewala.

BizAsia has learnt that Chopra has done the voice-over for the Indian story. Deeply touched by the story, she has watched the Indian story several times and has recommended her friends to do the same.

While Chopra has lent her voice to the Indian story, actress Anne Hathaway and singer Selena Gomez have also provided voice-overs for ‘Girl Rising’.
