Priyanka Chopra finds success in second Hollywood venture
After playing a tough FBI officer in ‘Quantico’ (2018) and a villain in ‘Baywatch’ (2017), Priyanka Chopra’s latest Hollywood release, ‘A Kid Like Jake’ features her in a comparatively simplistic role.
The film, based on a play of the same name, stars Claire Danes and Jim Parsons in lead roles, and follows their journey of coming to terms with their son’s gender identity. Chopra will be seen as Amal – a small but meaningful role of a mother married to an insensitive husband (played by Aasif Mandvi), Asian Age reported.
‘A Kid Like Jake’ had a limited release on 1st June to generally positive reviews. The family drama is also available to stream online.
