Priyanka Chopra discharged from hospital after injury

Priyanka Chopra has been discharged from hospital after sustaining an injury on the sets of her American TV series ‘Quantico’.

The actress has been advised to rest. According to Entertainment Tonight, the actress is said to be resting comfortably at home and will return to work on Monday.

TMZ reports that the actress slipped and fell on her head while performing an action stunt in ‘Quantico’ on Thursday. After the incident, the actress was rushed to hospital.

A spokesperson for the actress said, “I can confirm there was a minor incident last night on set. Priyanka was immediately taken to the hospital, examined by a doctor and released. (She) is resting comfortably at home on doctor’s orders, and will return to work after the weekend.”
