Priyanka Chopra confirmed for ‘Gangaajal 2’

At the beginning of the year, it was being said that Priyanka Chopra may well replace Ajay Devgn in the forthcoming sequel of Prakash Jha’s ‘Gangaajal’ (2003). The actress has recently confirmed that she will be a part of the film.

Interestingly, Chopra also put the speculation to rest. She spoke at the Britannia Filmfare Awards red carpet this week and said, “In ‘Gangaajal 2’, I’m playing Ajay’s (Ajay Devgn) female counter-part…”

The actress also went onto talk about other projects she will be undertaking this year, “So, in ‘Gangaajal 2’ I’m playing cop and in ‘Madamji’, I’m playing an item dancer. There is very nice variations of films”.

Chopra is also going to start shooting for her international TV show very soon.
