Priyanka Chopra backs SRK in IPL row

Priyanka Chopra has backed her good friend, Shah Rukh Khan in the Wankhede Stadium row, which erupted last week after King Khan had a run in with security staff on the ground.

Things have been somewhat frosty between the two stars since rumours of an “affair” between them emerged earlier this year. While her friends stood by her side, filmmaker Karan Johar had lashed out at Piggy Chops vowing never to work with her again.

In a recent conversation with a TV channel, Chopra defended her old friend and said, ���As a parent, I wouldn�۪t do anything less.�۝

Last week, Khan had got into a brawl with security staff and Mumbai Cricket Officials at Wankhede Stadium over mishandling his children. MCA was adamant that SRK had misbehaved, while Khan said he was protecting his children with the way they were handled by staff.

Khan has since been banned from the stadium for five years.
