Priyanka Chopra applauds Anushka Sharma & “Girl Power”

Priyanka Chopra sure knows how to give appreciation where needed, and she recently had a lot to say for Anushka Sharma and her work in ‘NH10’ (2015).

After watching the film, Chopra was quick to praise her peer through social networking site Twitter,��where she tweeted, “Der aaye durust aaye. Just saw NH10 @Anushkasharma! So proud of you…As a woman, an actor and a producer. Keep the flag flying high baby #GirlPower.”

“So good to see such amazing content driven films led by girls!it was so hard to get people 2 believe in us when I started started. We were always 2nd,” Chopra added.

The actress went on to talk about some of the risks she took in order to be taken seriously. “I was called silly for doing Fashion. As if it would harm my career! Hah! Look at us now! This movement will soon be a revolution! #ProudFemale,” she tweeted.

Chopra herself has taken many risks to be noticed, ��going the extra mile in developing her own singing career alongside her acting career. If that doesn’t convey the strength and power of women, then it’s a wonder what will.
