Priyanka breaks singing contract for Salman

Many will be aware that the soon-to-be international singing sensation Priyanka Chopra is under a strict contract meaning she is not permitted to sing live. However, at a recent awards ceremony, Chopra was seen and heard doing just that.

It is thought that despite being under strict instruction, Chopra was requested to sing by none other than Salman Khan. Chopra felt unable to refuse Khan as a source told Mid-Day, “At the recently concluded award ceremony, Salman requested Priyanka to sing a song. In spite of being under a contract with her music company in the West (she cannot do live performances), she sang two songs on the stage”.

It is believed that the actress sang a few lines of Itni Si Khushi from ‘Barfi!’ and also some of her single, In My City.
