Priyadarshan & wife file for divorce

Filmmaker Priyadarshan and wife Lissy have ended their 24 year old marriage by filing for divorce.

Rumours surrounding the couple’s marriage has been doing the rounds for several months. Yesterday, Lissy released a statement, “It is with profound sadness that I am announcing that I and Priyadarshan have decided to get separated after 24 years of marriage. I have filed for divorce today (Monday) in Chennai family court. Both our children and close friends are aware of this decision.”

Priyadarshan did not comment.
