Priyadarshan denies rumours of ‘Hera Pheri 3’: “Nothing is decided”

When news broke of a possible ‘Hera Pheri 3’, fans were more than excited to see Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal reunite on screen. However director Priyadarshan has denied the rumours.

Reported on Times Now News, the director who helmed the first instalment 19 years ago, says that no further talks have been had around the project. “It is true that I had one meeting with producer Firoz A. Nadiadwala and that was it. Nothing is decided and I can’t say whether if this will happen.” Explains the filmmaker in an IANS interview, who added that Kumar is still interested in doing this film.

The ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ (2007) director shares he has just completed filming his next -‘Marakkar: The Lion Of The Arabian Sea’, which releases next year, has been quite demanding. “At the moment, I have finished the filming of my present film Marakkar: The Lion of the Arabian Sea. I did it in 104 days and the 63 old in me is completely drained. The post-production is presently on in Chennai and my son Siddarth has come from the US as he is the ‘visual producer’ of the film. He says he needs eight months for it and after that, I need three months to wrap it up.”…”So my hands are tied, and hence, at this moment I can only say, nothing is decided on Hera Pheri 3,” added the ‘Hulchul’ (2004) director.
