Priya Prakash Varrier not a part of ‘Simmba’

Viral sensation Priya Prakash Varrier has not been signed to Rohit Shetty’s ‘Simmba’, contrary to what prior reports have suggested.

“Priya Prakash Varrier might have caught everyone’s attention, but she will not be a part of ‘Simmba’. In fact, she was not even in the running for the leading lady’s role, so we don’t know where these rumours are coming from. An announcement concerning the actress will be made soon.”, a source told Bollywood Life.

‘Simmba’ is a remake of the Telugu film ‘Temper’ (2015), and will star Ranveer Singh in a lead role. Previously rumoured female leads include Janhvi Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt and Sara Ali Khan.
