Priya Banerjee to star with Karanvir Bohra in ‘Darr’ remake?

Actor Karanvir Bohra announced that he would be remaking Shah Rukh Khan’s hit film ‘Darr’ (1993)��last month. He will be co-producing and��reprising Khan’s role in the remake. The leading lady has not been finalized, but rumor has it that ‘Jazbaa’ debutante Priya Banerjee will be playing Juhi Chawla’s character from the original.

Absolute India reports that sources from the film say that Priya Banerjee has been finalized but Bohra denies the same.

Banerjee started out with South films and made her debut with Sanjay Gupta’s ‘Jazbaa’. Bohra was last seen on ZEE TV’s popular drama, ‘Qubool Hai’.
