Pritam “heartbroken” after promoter issues with New Jersey concert

Music composer, Pritam has taken to Twitter to blast the promoters of his New Jersey, US, show after his technical requests were reportedly ignored.

The event, which was scheduled to take place on Saturday 7th April, was re-scheduled to Sunday 8th April but then eventually cancelled due to issues with the promoters. Taking to Twitter, Pritam said, “My technical team reached the venue for the setup only to find out that the promoters didn’t provide us with the technical requirements which is required to put up the Show . I planned and practiced for many months to perform in front of the North American audience for the first time .. My team tried to work out and plan out how to still do the event and when they failed to provide us with the requirements, even gave them the option to postpone the show to Sunday, which they AGREED too.. I posted that the show is postponed as they confirmed. However, they without informing us cancelled the show for second time.”

He added, “Their false promises and lies have made me hurt, heartbroken, disappointed and angry …when a musician gives a prior list of equipments needed for the show to a promoter, that only means that the show can’t happen without those. It’s no luxury but a sheer necessity to put up only a good audio visualand musical experience for the people who bought the tickets and came a long way… I have worked for more than 20 years in music and my only drug through this journey was the love from people who like to hear my music and when that doesn’t happen because of an inexperienced and unprofessional promoter, Iam only left heart broken.”
