Prime TV is set for a makeover with a slew of brand new shows hitting the channel at the end of this month.

The Pakistani broadcaster has confirmed to BizAsia that as of Friday 31st May, viewers will notice a new feel to the channel with its new line-up.

Prime TV has signed a deal with Pakistani channel Express Entertainment to broadcast the following shows in the UK for the first time.

‘Manahil Aur Kahlil’
Hit Turkish drama dubbed in Urdu/Hindi. The story is about Manahil and Kahlil who decide they will overcome all obstacles. A passionate love story.
Monday to Friday at 20:00

A story about a boy and a girl who are deeply in love, where they later find out that one of them is asked to sacrifice the single most important emotional bond in order to to rescue a dear one from emotional crisis.
Monday to Friday at 21:00

‘Kalyan Maray Angan Ki’
The show is about woman dominance and how a single mother raises three daughters.
Weekends at 20:00

A sitcom about a newly married couple who lose every ounce of sanity when their mother-in-laws invade their sanctuary.
Daily at 19:30

‘Maray Hazoor’
Hard hitting love story about a woman who has to choose between love, wealth and her emotions. A perfect married life takes a twist when only a child can save her going downwards.
Weekends at 20:30

‘Expert Parenting Show’
Advice magazine show on parents and parents-to-be with tips on how to understand your child better.

Daily breakfast show.

Incidentally, Prime TV has a deal in place with Express Entertainment’s sister channel, Express News for latest breaking news stories. During the recent Pakistani elections, Prime TV via Express News was one of the first to break poll results.

Prime TV is free-to-air on Sky Digital channel 792.
