Prime TV announces launch of new dramas


Pakistani broadcaster Prime TV has announced a string of new shows set to start over the next few weeks.

The channel has been undergoing many changes since it went free-to-air on Sky Digital in August. It has been performing well and hopes to attract new eyeballs with its new look winter schedule.

The two huge shows that are set to begin in the coming days are ‘Akhar Talaq Hi Kyun’, which will occupy the 21:30 slot and ‘Dil Ki Madham Boliyan’, which will air at 19:30.

Other shows in the pipeline for the channel are ‘New York Stories’, ‘Style Duniya’, ‘Begum Nawazish Ali’, ‘Music Charts’, ‘Bhola Kar Tumhe’, ‘Dil Diya Dahleez’ and ‘Saheli’. The channel has recently secured a number of deals with broadcasters in Pakistan to telecast popular shows from there in the UK.
