Sara Ali Khan has joined Ranveer Singh, Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar for ‘Simmba’ with full support from her ‘Kedarnath’ team.
In an interview with Times Now, KriArj Entertainment founder Prernaa Arora said “I am happy about her signing ‘Simmba’. It’s good for her, it’s good for me.”
Director Abhishek Kapoor had initially discouraged Khan from signing new films until the release of ‘Kedarnath’. However, delays in production forced the makers to reconsider their stance. “Even after the fallout between KriArj and Abhishek Kapoor, Sara was in touch with the makers. They knew that Sara is doing Karan’s film. It was not that they were not aware of what Sara is doing next, and didn’t want her to waste her time. She is very young, and they encouraged her to take up any other film that she wanted to. Karan is very fond of Sara and the latter has always wanted to work with Ranveer. So it all worked out eventually”, a source told Bollywood Life.
