Preity Zinta files sexual harassment case against Ness Wadia

Preity Zinta has filed a sexual harassment case against the co-owner of Kings XI Punjab and her ex-boyfriend, Ness Wadia, according to reports.

The Indian Express reported that an incident took place during this year’s Indian Premier League.

NDTV reported police sources saying that Zinta gave a written complaint which a first information report or FIR was registered against Mr Wadia under Sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) and 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

After ending their relationship in 2009, Zinta and Wadia have remained ‘close-friends’. They have shared a professional relationship with their IPL team and managed to finish second in this year’s tournament.
