Prateik Babbar’s bold theatre debut receives appreciation

Prateik Babbar gets pricey?

Prateik Babbar made his theatre debut with the new play ‘Six’ in which he played a gay character, which is based on the book, ‘A Midnight Clear’ by LB Hamilton. The story revolves around two former gay lovers. Although it is a bold choice but has been well appreciated by people, especially by the LGBT community.

The actor is getting all appreciation for pulling off the character. Babbar said to Times of India, I know it۪s a bold choice but I wanted to portray this part. It is about improving myself as an artiste. Theater is a different ballgame. I feel this is a new journey for me as an actor, since on stage you only have one chance to get it right in front of the audience. There are no retakes.۝

Sharing his experience of working on the play, he added, I have been attending an acting course over the last nine months to understand the intricacies of the craft. It is my duty as an artiste to learn and explore more.
