Prashant Bhatt appointed head of ZEE Punjabi’s fictions

In an attempt to tap back into the Punjabi market, ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Limited has appointed Prashant Bhatt as its Head of Fictions at ZEE Punjabi.

ZEE Punjabi is set for a comeback with a new strategy early next year. As a part of the plans, will be a number of new fictions, which will be launched on the channel. Bhatt, who previously worked with Colors, has been given the responsibility to commission new fictions for the new channel.

Bhatt confirmed the news on his Facebook. He said, “Have always believed in pushing myself in uncharted waters ….challenging and testing myself as that’s Wat keeps the adrenaline pumping….keeps me motivated ! Taking this forward am now wearing a new hat …that of the Programming Head of Fiction for ZEE PUNJABI . This Culture has always been extremely warm , enthusiastic and welcoming and am hoping I can do justice to its Rich and wide Spectrum ! It’s New but no stranger .. and after all you can’t just Live the same Year 75 times and call it a Life ! ”

ZEE Punjabi will give competition to PTC Punjabi, which leads the Punjabi market.
