Upadhyaya, who was formerly with ABP News, announce his departure on social media. He said, “I am now bidding adieu to Team Zee News after being a part of many wonderful coverages with you all and having many beautiful memories.”

At ZEE News, Upadhyaya was Senior News Anchor and Diplomatic Affairs Editor.
